An introduction to SugarTuesday.com

I have met a lot of fabulous people working at BES, most of whom are entrepreneurs doing their thing, following their passion and just getting sh*t done. I felt as though I needed something like that in my life, an extra oomph besides my 9 – 5.

For those who have NO clue, I have been working on SugarTuesday.com. A passion project formerly known as iSTYLE Magazine founded by a good friend, Harjot Bassra.

SugarTuesday.com is the voice of the rapidly emerging unified global South Asian scene. Through exclusive reporting and stunning photography, SugarTuesday.com is able to apply a lens to the talent and creativity of the latest generation of South Asians blazing their own path into mainstream media. Formerly known as iSTYLE Magazine, SugarTuesday.com is the next generation remixed, relaunched and reinvented.

I feel extremely excited to be a part of such an amazing project. South Asians are involved in so many fun and inspiring projects and I truly feel that they need to be celebrated.

My contribution to SugarTuesday.com is going to be an life-cast blog named “Sonia with an I“. My blog will consist of photographs, videos and text that will paint a picture to the reader, a picture so bright that the reader will feel inspired by the topic at hand. OR. They will be informed on where they can find the best nachos in Vancouver!

I have some pretty cool peeps lined up for interviews. I can’t reveal who, because Sugars don’t reveal their sweetness. Stay tuned…
